The R.O.C.K. (Relying On Christ the King) is a youth group for teens ages 12 to 18. They meet on Sunday evenings from 6pm to 8pm with Pastor Kevin and his wife Jessica.
The purpose of the R.O.C.K. is for teens to fellowship with one another while studying the Word of God. The choices teens face today and the decisions they are forced to make will determine their future. The R.O.C.K. is a place where teens can come and evaluate those decisions and apply the Word of God to their lives. It is a place where they can form Christian friendships and grow spiritually with God and one another.
A typical meeting consists of a 45 minute lesson which consists of studying God's Word and having in-depth discussions. After the lesson the group usually plays games and fellowship with one another.
The group participates in outside church activities
including summer camp and weekend retreats.
God has blessed Tristan Pafford with the talent to draw. He used this gift to draw several designs for our new R.O.C.K. t-shirts we have ordered. All of the designs were awesome and by a group vote we decided to go with the logo seen here. If you ordered a t-shirt they are expected to be here March 20th. The price is $10.00 for non-ROCK members and is due BEFORE you can get your shirt.
Our Valentine's Day Dinner was a great success. We raised plenty of money to pay for our t-shirts! Thank you to all of the R.O.C.K. that helped decorate, serve and clean up afterwards! A special thank you to Carole & Wes Lewis for preparing the food and to Linda & Larry Fulk who blessed us with musical entertainment.
